About The Mark Charlesworth Team

We're a team of specialists serving real estate buyers, sellers, and investors in the Greater Portland Metro area and Clark County, WA/. We have been ranked in the top 3 of real estate teams in the largest selling office on the east side for several years. We have over 300 5-star rankings on Google, Zillow and Facebook. We do things very differently than the average real estate company. The average agent in America sells 7 homes each year, we sell over 150 year over year.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for 3-5 ambitious and energetic sales professionals to join our outside sales team, specifically our buyer specialist team, serving home-buying clients. We are seeking people who are eager to join a fast-paced, driven, and growth-oriented sales organization. As an outside sales team member, you will enjoy creating solutions for your clients on the fly, managing a thick book of business, and working with a wide variety of people.

  • You follow up on your phone calls and emails quickly; you can't stand to leave things undone!

Responsibilities

Daily telephone prospecting

Assist in getting positive reviews

Must not fear the follow-up

Track key performance indicators

Keep accurate detailed notes on each conversation in our CRM

Must be willing to have accountability conversations on a regular basis

Expedite the resolution of client concerns and complaints to maximize client satisfaction

Prepare for buyer client meetings by conducting appropriate research in advance

Win new buyer clients by presenting The Mark Charlesworth Real Estate Team’s unique value proposition, walking through how the process works, and kicking off the home-buying journey

Establish, develop, and maintain positive client relationships throughout the sales cycle, helping clients understand each next step

Must be hyper-focused on meeting and exceeding goals through conversations with potential clients

Coordinating and communicating relevant details with The Mark Charlesworth Real Estate Team’s Operations team in order to serve the client in accordance with our “passion” of seeing them thrive

Communications/Interactions

  • Outside Sales Team Leader – daily

  • Operations Team - daily

  • Buyers/Sellers/Prospects/Vendors – daily

Requirements

  • Willing and able to obtain an Oregon and Washington real estate license. (You do not need real estate experience to apply!)

  • Experience in the People Service industry desired (ex: corporate sales, medical field, educator, contract negotiations, retail management, etc). All other relevant experience will be considered

  • Excellent selling and negotiation skills. Willing to learn and practice new sales skills

  • Prioritizing, time management, and organizational skills

  • Exceptional communicator, able to adapt your communication style to meet your client's needs

  • Highly motivated and target driven, with a proven track record in sales or of meeting ambitious goals

  • Must be willing to regularly work evenings and weekends, and willing to regularly work 50+ hours per week to meet your goals. (Since this is a real estate role, we have to be available when our clients are available. They are often only available outside of normal business hours.)

  • Willing to accept phone calls and follow up with clients between 8 AM and 8 PM daily (including weekends)

Please be aware that the interview process is quite lengthy and intensive… but worth it!
